cooking

Every culture and every country have their own signature cuisine, but trying to cook a dish far away from its origin can be challenging because it just wont taste the same. I come from a tropical country located in Central America called Honduras and our food means the world to me. It has been six years since i moved to Springfield, Mo. and ever since i haven't been able to taste all the wonders i left back home. I know that most of the ingredients are hard to find but the ones that we can just don't taste the same and i know im not the only one who things the same so does my family and many other international friends that i met here during school. Whatever the reason might be it makes it very hard to find something to conform with. Specially my wife, she is from Mexico and she moved to the U.S a few years before i did and she couldn't agree with me more. Although Mexican food is more famous and there are many restaurants that pretty much serve the same dishes she rather eat at home and i don't blame her because her mom loves cooking and she takes it a bit seriously, but some of the cooking is better than some restaurants. However, even her mom cant top the original Mexican food that my wife always talks to me about.

so you can imagine the amount of pressure that falls on me when i want to cook for my wife something that is typical in my country. Luckily I found the perfect thing that she loves more than her mom's Mexican version even if its not a whole dish, but its something that she gets exited when im about to cook it. I'm very proud to be able to show her something that we eat and enjoy very much im always happy to cook my black re-fried beans with our secret seasoning. The original ingredients are hard to find so we have been used anything that gets the closest. the taste is surly hard to explain because of the seasoning and the smell its just powerfull enough to bring everyone to the kitchen.

As a kid i was aware of the lights of a city blocking the view of our night skies, but it wasn't until this year that i watched a video about the topic and the had examples of the different night skies depending on where we are, in the city we can only see a few stars, in a more rural side we can see more, but there are places like this that we can actually see the universe. fun fact, during a massive black out in the city of Chicago decades ago, this was what they could see and the police received several calls from alarmed people that didn't know what the big cloud on the sky was. there are five or six different scales of dark skies and i have only witness the third darkest and its nothing like this so i want to make it a goal in life to witness this amazing view

I will never do that again!

i dont considere myself as a clombsy person but i know for sure that i have had a few.. a lot of times where i do something completely irresponsable without any thinking prior to it and i end up learning something new that day, but a the top of my head i m trying to remember a few. after all im pretty much half asleep. lets see i will never play with my keys will walking on a street drain of any sort again. i will never heat avocato in a microwave because it turns black! i will never ever EVER eat something that has been on room temperature more that three hours/ something that expired long ago ever again. one day my wife cooked some delicsious rice and i was going to eat the left overs that were still on the stoove for about a weekend. while eating the rice i notice that the texture was slimy but i recalled my wive saying that she had over coocked the rice so i didnt pay attention to the texture, the smell of it should have been very repulsive but i had a clogth nose that day so i didnt pick up on it untill my wife told me how bad it was six hours later


as i looked at her walking by i couldnt stop noticing how much she looked like my lost sister from 5 years ago. the more qualities and characteristics they shared the more into the idea i would sumerge myselfe. there she was heavily walking with no grace whatsoever, her arms graped around her book with her hair as bright as the sun all over her face.

james doesnt need to speak full sentences to let us know how he feels. specially when its time to get a bath  he starts to cry very loud while mombuling words and running away from us when we try to grab em. he hates taking bath


by the time she broke down the "good news" my face expression drop to cold. from mouths ive been planing this day and i couldn't be any more exited, i would go to bed thinking about this whole new adventure and the incredible new things we would experience, but it wasn't until this moment that i realize i was the only one who could stop counting the days left. my wife seemed happier when her friend told her she was coming to visit for a week and we would have to cancel our trip

place i rather be

i truely want to be here, but if reality was different i would go into one of my many daydreams.i would like to be at a beach but not just any beach . one were i am the boss of, more like a big island and i bough it with a huge gorgeouse house close to the water and a whole happy prosper town where most of the people there are family and friends.

i can see the biggest and the most blue skies i have ever seen or imaging in my life, there are a viarity of plants and flowers with shapes and colors that only can be describe as out of this world. the water looks so clear and pure filling up my horizon. the animals seem coming from a dr sues / avatar movie.

the waves make the best bachround sound and the birds create a melody. i can hear how the wind shakes the tall palms. deep in the island where the town is i can hear as i aproach the sound of kids playing and people talking and laughing. there is live music on the background ululeles everywhere.

the sand in this island is the fines i have ever walk on. i bet i will never find a rock or any other impurity even if i tried. the weather is as nice as it can get,, its very sunny, every day is but the sun is never too hot its always perfect with soft fresh winds. and the water is just as nice as the weather.

i can smell nature everywhere i go, i smell the delisous food that people are coocking

the food cant be any more delisious, and the viarety of ingredients makes the most exotic dishes i have ever had. the fruits that we can find here are the most sweetests biggest and juciest.


this island was found by a great great auncle we didnt know existed and at the time he was one of the most important man in the environmental scienctific comunity and all the descoveries that he found here wour so pressious and unknown to man kind that he desided to keep it a secret and created a comunitie with othere co workers that he trusted, they were like his fimily ...

unortodox dicction

John, Johny, and Joe are know to be best friend. they would always meet by the water fountain outside john's class room before lunch. today was not the exception.
"Hey! Johny. Here comes Joe" said John
"Hey! guys, what's up!" said Joe
The three friends got together outside john;s classroom and as usual they walked together towards the cafeteria and as always they held an interesting conversation, but before someone had to break the awkward ice  and that is john's everyday job to do.
"so... how was practice?" said john while turning his head towards johny.
"nackared...  and because of that i am having a tough time focusing and
